Sizing & fit
What size should I order?
Check the size guide before you buy — it walks through measuring a garment you already own against our cut. We'd rather point you to that than a generic size chart while we finish measuring our own sample.
Is the fit true to size, oversized, or boxy?
Hoodies are cut boxy with a dropped shoulder — the intended fit, not a mistake. Tees run a true-to-size heavyweight cut. Both are on the size guide with a "model is wearing" line so you've got a real reference point.
I ordered the wrong size — what now?
You've got 14 days to change your mind on anything, wrong size included — see returns & cancellation.
Delivery & returns
How long until my order arrives?
Everything is made to order, so the timescale on the delivery page includes production, not just shipping — nothing is sitting in a warehouse waiting to be picked.
How much is delivery?
Free over £45.00. A flat rate applies below that — exact figure on the delivery page, and your actual cost is always shown in the basket before you pay.
Do you ship outside the UK?
UK only, for now. No import duty, no customs charge landing on your doormat, no three-week wait from an overseas print shop — that's a deliberate trade-off, not a gap we haven't got to yet.
Can I return something if I just don't like it?
Yes — full detail on returns & cancellation. Some print-on-demand shops don't honour change-of-mind returns; we do, and we think that's the only honest way to sell something a customer can't try on first.
The product
Is this print-on-demand? Does that mean lower quality?
Yes, printed to order — and no, that's not the same as cheap. We use a premium heavyweight blank, not the thin, papery stock a lot of print-on-demand shops default to because it's the cheapest option in the catalogue. A £55 hoodie should feel like £55, or the print quality is somebody else's problem, not yours.
Will the print crack, fade or peel after washing?
It's printed once, in one colour, directly onto the garment — no vinyl, no heat-transfer sheet sitting on top of the fabric waiting to crack. Wash it inside out on a normal cycle and it'll outlast the garment around it.
Are you affiliated with any car manufacturer?
No — Sideways is an independent brand for people into the UK grassroots drift and JDM scene generally. Nothing here is licensed or endorsed by any manufacturer whose car might be pictured or referenced.
Orders & payment
Is my payment secure?
Payment is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. That's not a marketing line, it's how the checkout is actually built: your card number goes to Stripe directly and nowhere near our server.
Can I change or cancel my order after I've paid?
Email [email protected] as soon as you can. Once an order has gone to production it can't be pulled back — a printed garment can't be unprinted — so the earlier you catch it, the better the odds.
How do I track my order?
Your confirmation email has a link, or go straight to order tracking and enter your order number and the email you paid with.
I never got a confirmation email — was my order taken?
Check spam first — a new-ish domain sometimes lands there regardless of how correctly the email's built. If it's genuinely not there, look your order up directly or email [email protected] — being charged with no confirmation is the one thing worth chasing immediately rather than waiting out.
